  • have a spoon of honey; it will soothe your throat and give you energy
  • drink water; it will hydrate you and ease headaches
  • eat fibre; it will help your digestive system and nourish your body
  • sleep earlier; you will feel well rested and energised. it’s okay to go to bed late and sleep in sometimes, but you really will feel an awful lot better for going to bed at ten o’clock
  • practice hobbies; discovering a new passion such as arts or sport will make you happier with something to look forward to doing
  • go for a walk in nature; learning to appreciate the world is a step towards recovering anything, plus walking is good and healthy for you
