Courage is knowing what not to fear.

When you’re scared but you still do it anyway, that’s brave.

The reason we cry is to cleanse ourselves; To let go of what we thought we couldn’t. It’s forgetting love and hate for 5 minutes. When you cry it’s not sadness taking over, but you letting yourself know it’s ok.

It’s easy to take off your clothes and have sex. People do it all the time. But opening up your soul to someone, letting them into your spirit, thoughts, fears, future, hopes, dreams… that is being naked.

Recovery is so scary but so is staying exactly the same.

Buddha was not a god. He was a human being like you and me, and he suffered just as we do. If we go to the Buddha with our hearts open, he will look at us, his eyes filled with compassion, and say, “Because there is suffering in your heart, it is possible for you to enter my heart.

I’ve decided to make myself strong. As far as I can tell, that’s all I can do.
